MEMBERSHIP AND RESERVED SEATING
Q: What are valid concession types for a 2013 membership?

 
Concession memberships are available to the following concession card holders:

Student concession membership
Student concession membership is available to full time students. When applying for a student concession membership, proof of concession details are requested at the time of application. Student concession members must also carry their current student identification with them on a match day.

Pension concession membership
Pension concession membership is available to members holding pension concession cards issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Veteran Affairs for the aged, disability support, war veterans, single supporting parents, disability carers, war widows and TPI pensions. When applying for a pension concession membership, proof of the applicants concession details are requested at the time of application. Pension concession members must also carry their current pension card with them on a match day.
 
Q: What is the age limit for a junior membership?
 
To be eligible for a junior membership, members must be under the age of 15 years as at January 1, 2013. Please note that proof of age may be required at the turnstile entry gates.
 
Q: What is the 'General Admission' membership?
 
Formerly called 'Silver Unreserved'. This membership package and the seating options remain the same as 2012. However we have enhanced the package to now include the 'SUNS CIRCLE' which is an exclusive Members Only seating area. For more information on the package click here
 
Q: What does a SUNS Pass give me access to?
 
The SUNS pass allows Platinum, Gold A and Gold B members to invite family and friends along to a game. The SUNS Pass is a general admission seating ticket to any of the 11 games throughout 2013. Members GC SUNS Passes will be posted out seperately to their 2013 membership package. If you are yet to receive your GC SUNS Passes, please contact the Membership Services Team.
 
Q: What is the SUNS circle?
 
The new SUNS circle is a member only General Admission area. Located at the Southern end of the ground facing the big screen members can enjoy the company of fellow SUNS fans on match day here at Metricon Stadium.
 
Q: When will I receive my 2013 membership card and package?
 
Members will receive their membership card and pack within 14 working days from the purchase date. Members will receive an email from the Club notifying them that their membership pack has been lodged in the Post.
 
Q: How do I become a member of the Gold Coast SUNSCREAMERS?
 
The Gold Coast SUNS are looking for passionate and committed members to form part of our official SUNSCREAMERS. The SUNSCREAMERS sit behind the goals, prepare the players run through banner each week and have the opportunity to be a part of the pre match on field action!

Q: I have an AFL membership and have nominated the Gold Coast SUNS as my club of support, what does this entitle me to?
 
AFL Members holding a Gold Coast SUNS Club of support package have general entry entitlements to all Gold Coast SUNS home matches played at Metricon Stadium and must use their AFL Membership card to access the venue. General entry entitlements include access to General Admission seating bays and standing room areas (subject to capacity).
 
Q: Can I purchase a membership package as a gift for someone else (Christmas, Birthday)?
 
If you are looking to purchase a 2013 membership pack on behalf of someone else, please contact the Membership Services team at gcmembership@goldcoastfc.com.au so they can organise a gift certificate on your behalf.
 
Q: How long is my 2013 membership valid for?
 
2013 Gold Coast SUNS Memberships are valid until October 30 2013.
 
Q: I'm a Reserved Seat member; can I take a friend to the football?
 
Yes you can. However they will be unable to sit within your members seating area. If you would like to sit together you may do so in the General Admission seating allocation on Level 1.
 
Q: I'm a General Admission member; can I take a friend to the football?
 
As a General Admission member, you can simply swipe your membership card to gain entry into Metricon Stadium. When taking a friend with you, they can purchase a general admission ticket from the designated ticketing agent and once you've entered the ground, you will need to find a seat within the designated General Admission areas.
 
Q: What is the SUNS Interchange Pass?
 
The SUNS Interchange Pass was formerly known as the 15 Flexi Membership in 2012. A SUNS Interchange Pass offers members fifteen (15) individual entry tickets to be used at Gold Coast SUNS home games. For further information on this membership package, please click here.
 
Q: What entitlements do I receive through purchasing a Platinum membership?
 
Limited to 70 memberships, the exclusive Platinum membership provides members with exclusive entitlements and level 1 seating right next to the players interchange bench. For further information on this membership package, please click here.
 
Q: What is the age limit for a Little Ray of SUNShine membership package?
 
The age limit for the little ray of SUNShine membership package is under 4 years as at January 1, 2013.
 
Q: What is the Horizon's Program?
 
The Horizon's program is designed for the donation of an adult or junior 3 game membership for the 2013 season. However if you feel passionate about this program and would like to donate a different package, please contact Membership Services on 1300 661 933 or at gcmembership@goldcoastfc.com.au as this donation will be accepted. Q: When will I receive the members merchandise pack that I purchased with my membership?
 
Members will receive their merchandise pack within 7 working days from the purchase date. If you have not received your merchandise pack within this time frame, please contact the Membership Services team on 1300 661 933 or at gcmembership@goldcoastfc.com.au

MY GC SUNS ACCOUNT
Q: How do I access my 'MY GC SUNS Account' online?
 
You can login to your 'My GC SUNS' Account here

If you are having trouble with your password, it was either generated when you signed up or has been personalised by the account holder.

Once logged in, members have access to manage their membership, updating personal details or purchasing additional products.
 
Q: How do I find out my 'MY GC SUNS Account' login details?
 
Your membership ID (located on the back of your membership card) is your username. If you do not know your password, you can use the 'forgotten password' link or alternatively, you can contact Membership Services on 1300 661 933 or at gcmembership@goldcoastfc.com.au to request your password.
 
Q: How can I update my credit card details?
 
If you need to update or change your credit card details, please contact the Membership Services team on 1300 661 933.
 

GAME DAY - METRICON STADIUM
Q: Does Metricon Stadium have a 'Members Only' bar?
 
Yes. The members 'Light Tower' bar located on the Eastern side of Metricon Stadium is for exclusive use by GC SUNS members (over the age of 18 years).
 
Q: What is the entry policy for young children?
 
Children aged 5 and under as at January 1, 2013 are entitled to enter Metricon Stadium at no charge however they must not occupy a seat.
 
Q: Is there parking available at Metricon Stadium on game day?
 
Parking is not available at Metricon Stadium on game day. Members are encouraged to use the transport options available on match days. A shuttle bus pick up drop off system allows members who catch the train arriving at Nerang station to gain easy access to the stadium as well as a multiple destination bus service. Metricon Stadium also offers a Park 'n' Ride service on Boowaggan Road, Merrimac. Please see Metricon Stadium's website for match day transport information.
 
Q: Is there disabled (PWD) parking available at Metricon Stadium?
 
There are a limited number of disabled car parks (located in the Yellow car park) which are available to blue and red permit holders only. Due to the limited number of PWD car parks, patrons are required to book park spaces from two weeks prior to the event so that a permit can be posted. PWD car park bookings are subject to availability and cannot be purchased or collected on the day of an event.

GC SUNS SHOP
Q: What are the trading times for the GC SUNS Shop?
 
The GC SUNS Shop will trade Monday to Friday from 9am till 5pm and can be accessed via Gate 4. On game day, the GC SUNS Shop will trade from when the gates open until half an hour after the final siren.

Q: As a 2013 member, how do I use my 10% discount at the GC SUNS Shop?
 
The 10% discount applies to all 2013 members on presentation of their membership card and is valid at the GC SUNS Shop or online. Members 10% discount is not redeemable when using membership vouchers and does not apply to memorabilia or clearance/sale items. 2013 members discount expires 31/10/2013.
 
Q: What does my membership voucher allow me to purchase?
 
2013 membership vouchers ($15, $20, $25, $30) allow members to purchase merchandise from the GC SUNS Shopata minimum transaction spend of $30 per voucher. This discount does not apply to Memorabilia Products or any clearance/sale items and are not valid in conjunction with members 10% discount. Membership vouchers are only valid in store at GC SUNS Shop or online at www.gcsunsshop.com.au. Each member must present their 2013 membership card during transaction with vouchers expiring 31/10/2013. Member vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
